A love for fashion, craft and history fuels my design process. My mind is a constantly absorbing sponge of information and inspiration and I am always seeking out an inventive solution to an old problem. I love the challenge of creating something inspired by the old but completely unique and modern. The result of this being jewelry that is wild but also classic and well-crafted.
In early life I was exposed to art and fashion through family and friends. Frequent trips to the museums of New England, consistent art classes, and a family of supportive craftspeople and artists led to an obsession with materials, objects, craft and design.
After receiving my degree in jewelry and metalsmithing from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, MA, I worked for a few years refurbishing high end Swiss watches. California called to me and in early 2012 I packed everything I could fit into my little car and spent a few months driving alone across the county. Since then I have worked in the jewelry production industry for multiple talented designers in the Bay Area to pay the rent and buy materials to create my first collection.
